Tina, That Evil Bitch

Tina, That Evil Bitch

I don’t like meth bottoms.

Sure, they’re insatiable bottoms. Sure, they want my cum. Sure, they beg for it. Sure, they can take a fucking.

They chew. They move too much. They’re just plain a fucking mess.

No matter how much I tell the fuckers I’m not into the Tina queens, they’ll show up.

I’m traveling again and I had a beefy fiftysomething man with some nice nips on BarebackRT. My profile on BBRT clearly states “hell no” on drug use. And for some reason, I think on a Tuesday night with a mature man, I’m safe.

The smacking begins as soon as he’s naked (and he’s stopped sucking).

Maybe he took his teeth out.

I can’t stand the shit.

I pretend to cum quickly and send him home.

Yes, I fake orgasms.

I go to bed unsatisfied.

If I wanted drugs to fuck me over, I’d use them.

A Message to the Safer Sex Community: Face the Fucking Reality of Bareback Sex

I’m on Scruff and 25-year-old cutie hits me up, basically begging me to fuck him.

It’s rare for that to happen. I’m two decades his senior. Of course, some young ones do chase older men. Usually this much enthusiasm can be attributed to men who recognize me as the writer of this blog. But several minutes into the conversation and nothing about my blog has come up.

After he’s hinting how much he wants his legs lifted into the air and he’s forwarded two photos of men fucking him — both using condoms. I finally cross into the territory of truth.

no bb ever. well, maybe

Even with the little “iBLASTinside” hint, the boy doesn’t connect the dots and, well, it’s a while before I point him to my blog.

He’s one of hundreds. The “safer” hoards who suddenly give up their convictions once they’re away from peer pressure.

Half of Gay Men Admit to Barebacking; The Other Half Lie

Recently, the gay press reported something like half of all gay men reported they barebacked.

The half that said they didn’t? Most of them lied.

I’ll even bet you that if the scientists conducted the study lined up the men with who fucked whom, they’d discover portions of men who had a sexual encounter and a portion would say they barebacked while the other half would say they were “safe.”

This wall of deniability exists. I’ve even seen it (and written about it). It’s not something so bold as stealthing Opens new window of a page on this blog.

I’ve had bottoms ask if I have condoms. I say yes. He comes over and ignores the condom. He just rides my cock. I don’t ask if I can cum inside. I just do.

Just Like the Right Wing & Abstinence

The AIDS and HIV education community have become just like religious conservatives are with sex education and their insistence that only one path exists: Abstinence. The right wing fails to face facts that teenagers will have sex and won’t promote birth control including the pill or condom use. Moreover, if a pregnancy happens to occur, one must carry that baby to term.

But the more progressive want to teach the straight youth of America how to minimize the risk of disease transmission and possible pregnancy.

Condom Nazis haven’t gone progressive at all. They see just one option. Use a condom. They can’t even fathom people refusing to wear the horrible plastic thing that deflates a hardon.

Look, let me make this perfectly clear.

No matter how many public service messages put out that say, “Safe sex is hot sex,” may work on the brain, but it’s not working on the cock.

People just don’t want to face the fact that barebacking is better than sex with a condom. As I compared it once, it’s like standard-definition versus high-definition television Opens new window of a page on this blog.

Reality Check

Men will fuck without condoms. Face it. Stop being judgmental. You can block the #BBBH hashtag Open-New-Window-External on Twitter or defriend them on Facebook, thinking that it’s alienating them. But it’s not. Barebacking is a movement that’s growing.

Again, half of all gay men admit to doing it and that means there’s more who do it. Bareback porn is growing faster than anything else out there.

We have to face these facts. Now let’s find a way to stem the tide of disease transmission while still letting men bareback if they so choose.

This is like handing out clean needles to drug users. It’s controversial. I get that.

But I am not stopping my barebacking. And I am watching hundreds of thousands of men who won’t either.

I’ve got some suggestions for over-the-counter products that should be developed and provided as an option to those who choose to bareback.

lightbulb_on Virus-Killing Lube

Like a spermicidal lubricant, this would be a lube meant to be deadly to HIV and Herpes. If used as lube, it’s a means to help kill any free-floating viruses that come into contact with it. Of course, it’s got to be mild enough for the intestinal lining to handle it but strong enough to kill those little microscopic bugs.

lightbulb_on Accordion Squeeze Bottle Virucidal Douche

Before and after the fuck, the bottom should douche with this mild concoction. Especially in combination with the lube, the more killing of any HIV or Herpes hanging around in the cum. I have a bottom friend who normally carries around an accordion squeeze bottle (like seen here to the right) that he uses after he’s bred to flush out the cum.

I know. There’s something romantic about the DNA staying inside the bottom. And I’ll admit that I like marking my territory.

But I’m coming up with a solution here and this is reasonable.

lightbulb_on Clear or Latex Paint Assliner

Transmission of HIV normally occurs through fissures in the lining of the intestinal walls.

This idea may reduce the sensation of the bottom so it could be bad idea, but like the latex paint people spread on the body or the invisible bandages, the bottom would put this into their ass to create a protective layer to help prevent any issues with the anal cavity.

lightbulb_on Plan B for HIV Available OTC

Plan B refers to the “day after” pill for women who might have gotten pregnant the night before. Because of the controversy around abortion, many jurisdictions and politicians believe life begins at conception. Plan B provides for pregnancy prevention by inhibition of ovulation Open-New-Window-External. In order to get Plan B, a doctor must prescribe it and, in certain jurisdictions, certain women require parental permission.

Likewise, it’s been found that taking antivirals following possible exposure to HIV will inhibit the transmission. Of course, one can go to one’s doctor and request a certain supply, which goes onto one’s insurance, which shows that the patient is participating in what insurance companies consider “high-risk behavior” and will potentially flag that patient from receiving insurance renewals and life insurance, among other benefits.

Creating an over-the-counter option, easily obtained from the pharmacist at a reasonable cost helps long-term and concerns.

A Final Note for Bug-Chasers and Gift-Givers

I am not denying the POZ community at all and those find eroticism in HIV, just as those who find pregnant women sexy. Please.

I’m not advocating or condemning bug-chasing Open-New-Window-External and/or gift-giving Open-New-Window-External.

But what has been obvious to me for far too long just keeps slipping through the mental grasp of those on the other side of this issue. I fear a backlash is coming of gay right-wing hatred, like a Tea Party within our own progressive ranks that would make for radicalization and fractures well beyond what we want to see.

This “no compromise” attitude that’s gridlocked the U.S. government concerns me. I’ve seen it in my own life as I approached GLBT legal groups with my firing for being gay only to be told that they were much too busy focusing on the marriage rights fight to worry about a man fired to being gay. It’s as if the gay rights movement worries more about eating wedding cake than putting food on the table.

I don’t want this to happen to sexual politics.

For those who wish to bareback but don’t wish to chase, here’s some options to protect themselves. It’s as simple as that.

Cleaning Up After the Death of Erik Rhodes

Cleaning Up After the Death of Erik Rhodes

“Whatever sells tickets to the circus.”

—Erik Rhodes, June 11, 2012
from his Tumblr blog

I love porn. I do. Porn is the bomb. Any one out there who says porn is bad needs to get his (or her) head examined. In a way, I’m in the porn business, although I don’t really make money since I write some really nasty stuff and people jerk off to the words (and borrowed photos) here on this blog.

A huge chunk of the porn industry has a problem and it’s been exposed by the death of Erik Rhodes. Rhodes, a 30-year-old Falcon Studios exclusive, died early June 14 of an apparent heart attack. Rhodes wrote often of his extensive drug use including crystal meth, GHB, human growth hormone, prescriptions, steroids and recently outlawed “bath salts,” among others. Rhodes, who’s real name was James Elliott Naughtin, was cremated on Monday.

Right now, a concerted effort to clean the scene as a huge chunk of porn consumers, producers, actors, companies and media outlets attempt to ignore what killed this gorgeous man. Each knew it, enabled it, ignored it or implicitly encouraged it.

Try to say anything else and you’re just lying to yourselves.

If you check Twitter (as of today), people are still just discovering the Friday death of Erik Rhodes. GayPornGossip.com Link Opens in a New Window, a website with the word “gossip” in the name, is completely ignoring his drug use. Some tweets demonize any coverage that dares mention the drug use or suggests that the drugs contributed to his death, despite his last blog entry speaking of starting a cycle of steroids and recent tweets discussing taking several barbiturates in order to sleep including Ambien, Klonopin and nine over-the-counter pills.

Erik’s Tumblr blog and Twitter accounts were deleted Monday (although cached versions remain available if you know how to reach them; remember folks, nothing is ever really deleted off the web).

This reminds me of the heroine chic that dominated the fashion world for a while. The impossible muscularity and party mentality that the gay world expected from this man proved impossible for him.

And I continue to think it’s just hypocritical to embrace drug use and reject barebacking. When I wrote my original post,  I expected more than two of thousands of people who read my blog every day to respond. Agree. Disagree. Argue. But I guess not. I guess the clean-up job will again sweep away the truth.

Hey Derek, You’re in the Gay Mafia, Bitch!

Hey Derek, You’re in the Gay Mafia, Bitch!

The Original Post on the Death of Porn Star Erik Rhodes (June 14, 2012)
Derek Hartley Responds (June 16, 2012)

Cool! Be a Steroid-Shooting, Tina-Snorting Musclebound Porn Star! Just Wear a Condom!

Okay, now that’s one of the bitchiest headlines I’ve ever written. But I’m trying to get through to Derek Hartley and his ilk.

If you’re missing how all this started, go back a few days to my entry on the loss of musclebound god and Falcon-exclusive porn star Erik Rhodes. Derek responded as well.

I’ve listened to Sirius XM’s OutQ station and the “Derek and Romaine” show, where Derek Hartley broadcasts. As with some of our so-called “gay celebrities,” you get a little fame in the community and, well, what happens to you but you become a little less rooted in where the rest of us live.

He hangs out with porn stars and musclebound men. And he loves, loves, loves to dispense advice on his bully platform of a radio show. Derek is friends with FabScout Howard Follow on Twitter, an outspoken condom Nazi and part of porn “model” company FabScout Entertainment Link Opens in a New Window, which refuses to represent anyone who chooses to bareback. FabScout was part of the switch of Marc Dylan over to condom-only porn (among some others).

FabScout, Derek, Falcon and the rest of the Gay Mafia sit in judgment. They love their placement on these thrones where, in this façade they show, they pretend to be outraged at barebacking. They preach against it. It is wrong, destructive, horrendous, etc.

But they accept all the other horrors of the gay lifestyle: Excessive drinking, steroids, drug use, partying, smoking cigarettes, etc. These abuses and killers — which far exceed anything barebacking has ever done — somehow remain acceptable to them.

How a blind eye keeps getting turned to this baffles me. How these people sit in judgment of one choice bothers me. When smoking contributes to the top six of eight killers in the world, when drug use and other over indulgences can destroy lives and unbalance people (like Erik Rhodes), it seems all right to porn studios, model representatives and the Gay Mafia.

Take FabScout. Upfront on its website Link Opens in a New Window is its policy on safe sex (should be “safer sex”). Why not a policy on drug use? It’s okay for your models to use steroids? It’s okay for your models to get high on crystal meth, PCP, bath salts? Seems to me, if you want to protect your “investment” in your models, why don’t you protect them by assuring they’re all healthy and drug free.

Barebacking is a choice, just like everything else here. If you’re going to allow people the right to choose other behaviors, why not barebacking? Is it because these men are attractive and musclebound and beautiful that you can somehow overlook these behaviors?

Still seems so hypocritical.

Derek Hartley Responds Regarding My Post on Erik Rhodes Death…

[alert style=”green”]I believe the comment system on this blog sometimes doesn’t give people the appropriate emphasis. Therefore, I decided to add a separate entry. This is in response to my entry, “The Mourning of a Porn Superstar and the Question of Hypocrisy for Falcon Studios, Derek Hartley and the Rest of You Anti-Barebackers” from June 14, 2012. Sirius XM Radio Personality Derek Hartley responded June 16, 2012. His blog is available at DerekHartley.com Link Opens in a New Window. You can also follow him on Twitter Follow on Twitter.[/alert]

Derek Hartley Writes:

Since you cited me, I feel obligated to respond.

You make a lot of assumptions about me and what I judge and don’t judge and I think you missed the essential point of what I was conveying about my friend.

I know that you want this to be about bareback vs. condom but that never entered my line of thinking in what I wrote or how I thought of my friend. His aggressively destructive ways were not okay with those of us who knew him best and many of us worked hard to help him pull his life together. His drug use was a serious problem. It left him erratic and unreliable.

He did lose friends and boyfriends over it. But ultimately there was nothing any of us could do to alter his course or assuage the profound sadness that haunted him that no amount of love, drugs, sex, fast food or heavy lifting could conquer.

Ultimately, I don’t see anything in your central thesis here that connects to my friend.

He was a paid exclusive to Falcon so yes, if he did scenes for someone else (condoms or bareback), they would have had a problem with that as a breach of contract. I don’t think it would have made his private behavior any easier or harder to take if he made different films.

Those of us who knew him knew him as a person, not just as someone who fucked on camera. That kind of thinking, by those who only saw him as a piece of meat, contributed to his downfall more than the unwillingness of his friends to intervene. What you write suggests that how we all felt about him hinged on the kind of porn he did, and to that I must respectfully but vehemently disagree.
